Ethos – the HR arm of AVP Law – believe that all businesses, no matter what size, should have access to affordable and trusted HR and Employment Law advice.
We offer a fixed-rate or retained HR consultancy service in order to resolve or anticipate prospective internal or external (legal) challenges.
We offer director level HR support for a fraction of the cost of employing a full time HR director.
Our service includes attending the workplace for face-to-face consultations, not simply an advice line.
Typically, our engagements will include the following:
- Advising on and reviewing internal policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal provisions
- Undertaking reports into staffing operations
- Advising on legal processes such as TUPE or redundancy
- Delivering HR related training to management and staff
- Advising and representing in Employment Tribunal matter
We have in excess of 15 years’ experience in HR and Employment Tribunal matters including TUPE, large redundancy consultations, multi-party unfair dismissal claims and defending discrimination.
We aim is to avoid matters reaching the stage of litigation. Our primary aim is to avoid issues reaching the stage where a tribunal is required to intervene.
